Brewery Rigging Specialist
Overview
Brewery Rigging Specialists are in charge of decommissioning, rigging, palletizing, and loading equipment such as fermenters, brewhouses, tanks, canning lines, boilers, walk-in coolers, and specialty machinery. This role combines professionalism, mechanical ability, and physical work in breweries, distilleries, and manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
• MUST HAVE Excellent Forklift Skills • Assist with loading, unloading, and positioning large brewery equipment • Perform rigging tasks using forklifts, pallet jacks, straps, dollies, and lift systems • Help disassemble or reassemble equipment during installs or removals • Secure equipment for transport and ensure safe site operations • Follow directions from lead riggers and maintain a clean, organized work area
Ideal Candidate
• Comfortable with physical labor and heavy equipment • Mechanically inclined and willing to learn rigging techniques • Able to travel locally or regionally for job sites • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team • Safety-minded with good communication skills
Requirements
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds • Valid driver license • Experience with forklifts, skid steers, or machinery. • Prior rigging experience is desired.
